John Hannah has several films which have been announced or rumored, but have not yet been filmed. Clerkenwell Films also has several films that they are in the middle of developing, but which aren't fully funded yet or for other reasons are waiting for their chance to be made.
There is some, but not much, information available on most of these films:
- psychological thriller, based on the novel by Jason McCreight
- to be produced by Clerkenwell Films (in development)
- no mention of JH's participation as actor
- rewritten from "Something Blue"
- another possible Clerkenwell Films production
"This fast paced contemporary tale of love, revenge and death follows Jay, a young Anglo-Italian woman, on her travels between Tring, London and Naples. FREAKY is about being the daughter of an Italian immigrant but not being able to behave like a good Italian girl. FREAKY is about pouring paintstripper on your ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend's car and laughing about it with your mates. FREAKY is about stealing cars to get somewhere fast, but finding the past thrown back in your face. FREAKY is about doing too much coke on a Friday night and sleeping with strangers, hating what men do to you but not being able to live without them. FREAKY is about the meaning of love when you're twenty-five and you live alone in bedsit land."
optioned by Clerkenwell Films
no mention of JH's participation as an actor.
A Clerkenwell Films production to be filmed in Malta
no mention of John as actor.
to be directed by David Blair from script by Emlyn Williams
There's been a lot of controversy about this project since it deals with the real-life story of the 1960s serial killers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley. It's not too likely that the film will be made anytime in the near future. But John Hannah's name has been thrown around to co-star if the film is made.
- based on the book by Christopher Brookmyre
- optioned by Clerkenwell Films
- no mention of JH's participation as actor
- Douglas Henshall may star?
- Bampot Central
- in development by Clerkenwell Films
- seems to be in funding/development Hell...
